ATTENTION STUDENT LEADERS: WE WANT THE PEOPLE BUILDING THE NEXT DECADE
An Open Call to SGA Leaders, Campus Organizations, Student Entrepreneurs, Creators, Athletes and Emerging Professionals Across Georgia
CRUSH MAGAZINE™ | CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ | FALL 2026
Before somebody becomes a CEO—
they’re a student.
Before somebody becomes a mayor—
they’re a student.
Before the attorney.
The founder.
The physician.
The producer.
The filmmaker.
The investor.
The professor.
The engineer.
The executive.
The Grammy winner.
The professional athlete.
The bestselling author.
The person everybody suddenly claims they always believed in—
there was a period when they were still becoming.
WE’RE INTERESTED IN THAT PERIOD.
Not twenty years later.
Now.
CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ is traveling through Georgia’s college ecosystem during Fall 2026.
And we’re looking for more than crowds.
We’re looking for:
THE PEOPLE BUILDING THE NEXT DECADE.
THIS IS AN OPEN CALL TO STUDENT GOVERNMENT
SGA presidents.
Vice presidents.
Executive-board members.
Senators.
Class presidents.
Programming leaders.
Campus representatives.
We want to know what you’re working on.
What are students asking for?
What problems are you trying to solve?
What has your administration accomplished?
What hasn’t worked?
What do you want your campus to look like when you graduate?
What are you personally building beyond your title?
Those are stories.
And CRUSH Magazine™ wants to tell them.
A TITLE IS TEMPORARY.
Leadership isn’t.
Eventually somebody else becomes SGA president.
Somebody else gets elected.
Somebody else sits in the meeting.
So what remains?
Impact.
Relationships.
Decisions.
Programs.
Lessons.
Reputation.
That’s why student leadership should be documented while it’s happening.
GEORGIA STATE:
WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOUR BUILDERS.
Downtown Atlanta creates a unique environment.
Students can move between campus and one of America’s largest business and cultural markets every day.
Who is taking advantage of that?
Who is starting companies?
Who is leading organizations?
Who is producing media?
Who is working in government?
Who is building technology?
Who is making music?
Who is creating something Atlanta hasn’t seen yet?
We want to meet them.
UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA:
WE’RE LOOKING BEYOND THE STADIUM.
UGA football receives enormous attention.
But the university is bigger than football.
Who is building?
Who is researching?
Who is creating?
Who is leading?
Who is launching companies?
Who is developing brands?
Who is using athletics as a platform for something larger?
Homecoming brings attention to Athens.
We want some of that attention to find the people doing meaningful work there.
MOREHOUSE:
WHO ARE THE NEXT MEN OF MOREHOUSE THE WORLD WILL KNOW?
Not simply because they’re popular.
Because they’re building something.
Business.
Technology.
Politics.
Arts.
Media.
Community.
Sports.
Education.
Entrepreneurship.
Leadership.
The Morehouse alumni network contains extraordinary history.
CRUSH Magazine™ wants to document the generation currently preparing to add to it.
SPELMAN:
WHO ARE THE WOMEN BUILDING WHAT COMES NEXT?
Founders.
Scientists.
Artists.
Technologists.
Researchers.
Creators.
Executives.
Organizers.
Designers.
Writers.
Entrepreneurs.
Spelman has generations of accomplished alumnae.
But every legacy institution survives because another generation eventually takes responsibility for the future.
We want to know this one.
CLARK ATLANTA:
WHO IS TURNING CULTURE INTO BUSINESS?
Atlanta creates an unusual laboratory.
Music.
Media.
Film.
Fashion.
Sports.
Technology.
Entrepreneurship.
Hospitality.
Students can study industries while living inside the city helping shape them.
Who is using that advantage?
Who is building the next media company?
Production company?
Label?
Agency?
Technology business?
Fashion company?
Nonprofit?
We want those stories.
ALBANY STATE:
SOUTH GEORGIA TALENT DOES NOT NEED ATLANTA’S PERMISSION.
This matters.
Opportunity should not require relocation before recognition.
Albany has builders.
Albany State has leaders.
Entrepreneurs.
Athletes.
Artists.
Creators.
Researchers.
Future professionals.
If you’re doing serious work in Albany—
CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ wants to know.
SAVANNAH STATE:
THE COAST HAS ITS OWN GENERATION OF LEADERS.
Savannah is one of Georgia’s most recognizable cities.
Millions know the destination.
Far fewer know the students building their futures inside it.
We want:
Student founders.
SGA leadership.
Athletes.
Musicians.
Photographers.
Designers.
Media talent.
Creators.
Campus organizations.
Future business owners.
Savannah’s next chapter is being written now.
GEORGIA SOUTHERN:
STATESBORO, SHOW US WHO’S NEXT.
The Fall 2026 Homecoming road closes in Statesboro.
But being the final stop doesn’t mean being the final priority.
Georgia Southern students are building now.
We want to know:
Who’s leading?
Who’s creating?
Who’s selling?
Who’s organizing?
Who’s performing?
Who’s innovating?
Who’s next?
TO CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS:
YOU DON’T HAVE TO THROW PARTIES TO WORK WITH CULTURE.
This platform has room for:
Business organizations.
Technology organizations.
Media organizations.
Arts organizations.
Sports groups.
Entrepreneurship clubs.
Community-service organizations.
Academic organizations.
Student publications.
Programming groups.
Where appropriate and properly authorized, there may be opportunities for:
Features.
Interviews.
Panels.
Business showcases.
Creator opportunities.
Editorial collaborations.
Community initiatives.
Not everything has to become nightlife.
TO GREEK STUDENT LEADERS:
Your organizations represent histories much larger than one Homecoming weekend.
Service.
Scholarship.
Brotherhood.
Sisterhood.
Leadership.
Alumni.
Culture.
Where authorized and appropriate, CRUSH Magazine™ is interested in documenting those dimensions too.
We aren’t interested in reducing Greek life to party flyers.
The history deserves more respect than that.
TO STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS:
THIS MAY BE YOUR CALL.
You don’t need a million-dollar company.
You need evidence that you’re building.
Show us the product.
Show us the customers.
Show us the idea.
Show us the work.
Clothing.
Food.
Technology.
Beauty.
Music.
Media.
Photography.
Transportation.
Fitness.
Tutoring.
Design.
Events.
Professional services.
Whatever the category—
if you’re creating legitimate value, we want to know.
AND WE WANT TO KNOW YOUR NUMBERS.
Not private financial information you don’t want published.
But the business lesson.
How did you get your first customer?
What did you charge?
What mistake cost you money?
What marketing worked?
What didn’t?
How do you balance school and business?
What do you want to build after graduation?
That’s education students can actually use.
TO CAMPUS CREATORS:
YOUR FOLLOWERS AREN’T THE ONLY THING WE CARE ABOUT.
We care about:
Originality.
Consistency.
Storytelling.
Professionalism.
Audience trust.
Visual identity.
Cultural awareness.
Can you create something people remember?
That’s more interesting than follower count alone.
TO PHOTOGRAPHERS:
Your camera may become your first company.
Build accordingly.
Contracts.
Rates.
Portfolio.
Client relationships.
Usage rights.
Editing workflow.
Storage.
Backup.
Brand.
The photograph is creative.
The operation behind it is business.
Learn both.
TO VIDEOGRAPHERS:
You may be holding one of the most powerful tools in modern marketing.
A great sixty-second recap can influence thousands of purchasing decisions.
Understand what that means.
You aren’t simply holding a camera.
You’re potentially creating demand.
Charge and operate accordingly.
TO DJS:
You’re studying consumer behavior every night.
You know:
What moves.
What doesn’t.
What records are rising.
What records are exhausted.
What crowds want.
What crowds didn’t know they wanted.
That’s information.
Build a brand around that knowledge.
Don’t think of yourself only as somebody who plays music.
TO STUDENT ATHLETES:
YOUR VALUE IS BIGGER THAN YOUR JERSEY.
NIL changed the conversation.
But your personal brand should survive your eligibility.
What do you believe in?
What are you studying?
What business interests you?
What community matters to you?
What happens after sports?
CRUSH Magazine™ wants stories about the person inside the uniform.
TO STUDENT JOURNALISTS:
WE NEED REPORTERS.
College culture deserves serious documentation.
Not gossip disguised as journalism.
Reporting.
Interviews.
Research.
Context.
Accuracy.
Student government.
Athletics.
Business.
Music.
Campus issues.
Homecoming.
Alumni.
Culture.
If you can tell stories responsibly, there is a much larger world of media beyond graduation.
Start building the clips now.
TO DESIGNERS:
You determine how culture looks before anybody attends it.
Logos.
Flyers.
Clothes.
Websites.
Social content.
Brand identities.
Packaging.
Your work is everywhere.
Treat design like intellectual property and professional labor.
Build the portfolio.
TO MUSICIANS:
WE WANT THE RECORD THE CAMPUS KNOWS BEFORE THE WORLD DOES.
Not every important artist starts with national attention.
Sometimes one dorm knows.
Then one campus.
Then one city.
Then one state.
Then everybody pretends it happened overnight.
CRUSH Magazine™ wants to document the earlier chapters.
TO STUDENTS WHO DON’T THINK THEY’RE “IMPORTANT ENOUGH” YET:
Good.
This may be exactly when the story is most interesting.
You don’t need celebrity.
You need direction.
Building something?
Leading something?
Creating something?
Solving something?
Then there’s a story.
TO ALUMNI:
HELP US FIND THEM.
You know what it means to leave campus and enter the real world.
Who should current students meet?
Who deserves mentorship?
Who deserves an internship?
Who deserves investment?
Who deserves an introduction?
Homecoming shouldn’t only reconnect alumni with each other.
It can reconnect opportunity with the next generation.
TO EMPLOYERS:
STOP RECRUITING ONLY BY GPA.
Look at what students are actually doing.
The student who runs a business understands customers.
The SGA leader understands stakeholders.
The athlete understands performance.
The promoter understands sales.
The photographer understands clients.
The journalist understands deadlines.
The creator understands distribution.
The organization president understands management.
Those skills have economic value.
TO INVESTORS AND FOUNDERS:
THE NEXT COMPANY MAY STILL BE IN A DORM ROOM.
You don’t have to invest blindly.
But pay attention.
Student founders have access to something many corporations spend millions trying to understand:
Their own generation.
They know problems older executives may not see yet.
That’s where innovation often begins.
TO UNIVERSITIES:
HELP THE WORLD DISCOVER YOUR STUDENTS BEFORE GRADUATION.
Your greatest marketing asset isn’t a building.
It’s the people your institution develops.
Student accomplishments.
Research.
Entrepreneurship.
Athletics.
Leadership.
Service.
Creative work.
Those stories deserve amplification.
Where formal collaboration makes sense, let’s build it correctly and transparently.
AND TO EVERY STUDENT READING:
Don’t wait for permission to start documenting your work.
Build the website.
Create the portfolio.
Register the business when appropriate.
Keep records.
Learn contracts.
Understand taxes.
Protect intellectual property.
Save the photographs.
Save the press.
Save the footage.
Track the numbers.
Build relationships.
Your twenties shouldn’t become a decade of undocumented potential.
BUILD THE RECEIPTS.
FALL 2026 IS OUR SEARCH.

We’re looking for people worth knowing in every market.
Not because everybody needs to work for CRUSH.
Because strong media should identify talent.
THEN WE CONNECT THE MAP.
Atlanta student.
Meet Savannah creator.
Savannah founder.
Meet Morehouse alumnus.
Spelman entrepreneur.
Meet corporate partner.
Albany photographer.
Meet Atlanta publication.
Georgia Southern DJ.
Meet Savannah promoter.
UGA founder.
Meet investor.
The value isn’t merely being featured.
THE VALUE IS WHAT CAN HAPPEN AFTER PEOPLE FIND EACH OTHER.
THAT’S THE BIGGER VISION FOR CRUSH UNIVERSITY™.
Events bring people into rooms.
Media introduces people who may never enter the same room.
Networks connect them afterward.
Business gives those relationships economic value.
And documentation ensures the history isn’t lost.
That’s how culture becomes infrastructure.
So yes—
we’re interested in Homecoming.
We’re interested in packed rooms.
We’re interested in great music.
We’re interested in unforgettable weekends.
But we’re also interested in the student quietly building something that might eventually become bigger than all of it.
Because twenty years from now, nobody will care who had the most followers on campus in 2026.
They’ll remember:
Who built something.
Who led something.
Who changed something.
Who owned something.
Who left something behind.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR THOSE PEOPLE NOW.

IT’S ALREADY HAPPENING.
We want to document it before everybody else catches up.
