BEENJAMMIN: THE RIDE TO TYBEE STARTS WITH THE MUSIC

CRUSH Magazine | Music + Southern Culture

Before the beach, there is the ride.

Friends are gathering their bags, checking the route and deciding who gets control of the music. “BeenJammin” gives that drive a Plug Not A Rapper selection with its own place in the Am Original catalog.

Credited to Mr Crush, Plug Not A Rapper and Party Plug Mikey, the 2026 recording joins CRUSH Magazine’s Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded listening series. Previous CRUSH coverage has connected the song with car culture, making the journey toward the coast a natural occasion to introduce it.

A road-trip record gets heard in company. One person chooses it; everybody else gets an opinion. “BeenJammin” gives the group something new to put in rotation while Savannah gets closer and the weekend begins to feel real.

Start with the recording, then continue through Am Original. Listeners who have already explored “CRUSH WORLD CUP” or “what time” can use “BeenJammin” as another entry into the project.

For the Tybee performance conversation, the song is worth considering as a connection between the trip, the artist and the audience arriving from different cities.

Windows down or air on, let “BeenJammin” ride with you.
