Crush Da Yard: Explore Plug Not A Rapper’s College-Themed Catalog

CRUSH Magazine | Crushtober University 21+ Spotlight

The school colors come out. Old friends reconnect. Somebody starts planning the next gathering before the current one ends.

That college-and-alumni setting frames this spotlight on “Crush Da Yard,” a 3-minute, 54-second track from Crushtober University 21+. The release credits Mr Crush, Plug Not A Rapper and Party Plug Mikey.

For listeners exploring the music alongside Orange Crush and CRUSH Reloaded coverage, this record brings another part of the catalog into focus.

Where Crush Da Yard Sits on the Album

“Crush Da Yard” appears as track six on the published Crushtober University 21+ sequence, immediately after “MEAC Homecoming” and before “Arch Madness.”

Those neighboring titles give listeners a clear route through the project’s college-themed presentation. Start with that stretch of the album, then return to “Crush Da Yard” on its own.

Hearing a song within its album sequence can change which details catch your attention. Give it both listens and decide where it belongs in your rotation.

Bring a New Selection to the Reunion

A reunion playlist can hold songs everybody remembers alongside records somebody is hearing for the first time.

Make “Crush Da Yard” one of those introductions. Send the link when friends begin discussing the weekend. Play it during a shared listening session, then let someone else nominate the next record.

Current students and returning alumni don’t have to arrive with the same favorites. Discovering each other’s music is part of the exchange.

Three More Songs to Explore

“College & Alumni Girlz” names the audience directly, making it another starting point for listeners exploring this part of the project.
