CRUSH HAS A CALENDAR NOW
From Spring Break Beaches to Fall Homecomings, CRUSH Is Building a 2026 Cultural Circuit Across the South
CRUSH MAGAZINE™ | CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ | 2026
There was a time when people could hear CRUSH and think about one weekend.
One beach.
One destination.
One enormous gathering.
One moment on the calendar.
But look at 2026 carefully.
Something larger is taking shape.
Miami.
Savannah and Tybee Island.
Atlanta.
Jacksonville.
Then summer gives way to fall.
The swimsuits disappear.
School colors return.
Football starts.
Bands begin rehearsing.
Alumni book flights.
Students start counting down.
And CRUSH moves from the beaches into one of the South’s most powerful cultural seasons:
HOMECOMING.
Atlanta.
Athens.
The AUC.
Albany.
Savannah.
Statesboro.
Different cities.
Different universities.
Different audiences.
Different histories.
One expanding cultural calendar.
CRUSH HAS A CALENDAR NOW.
MARCH 13–16
MIAMI SPRING BREAK
The 2026 journey begins south.
Way south.
MIAMI, FLORIDA
MARCH 13–16, 2026
Miami represents exactly what an opening weekend should feel like.
Movement.
Travel.
Sun.
Water.
Music.
Nightlife.
Hospitality.
College Spring Break.
People aren’t coming home yet.
They’re getting away.
That’s an important distinction because the CRUSH calendar begins with one of the most powerful motivations in youth culture:
escape.
Winter is ending.
Spring is beginning.
Students are moving.
Flights are landing.
Cars are arriving.
The season starts in Florida.
APRIL 16–19
SAVANNAH / TYBEE
Then CRUSH comes home to coastal Georgia.
APRIL 16–19, 2026
One weekend.
One coastal destination experience.
Savannah.
Tybee Island.
And let’s make something completely clear:
THERE IS ONE TYBEE WEEKEND.
Not two.
No second standalone Tybee date.
No Allenhurst extension.
One Savannah/Tybee weekend.
April 16–19.
That concentration matters.
Because Savannah and Tybee offer two completely different environments within one coastal destination.
Savannah provides the city.
Restaurants.
Hotels.
Nightlife.
History.
Culture.
Hospitality.
Tybee provides the Atlantic.
Sand.
Beach.
Island atmosphere.
Together, they create something neither market produces independently.
CITY + BEACH.
And for CRUSH, that combination carries history.
SAVANNAH ISN’T JUST A LOCATION
It is part of the DNA.
The Georgia coast has a cultural identity that cannot be recreated by simply renting a venue somewhere else.
Savannah.
Tybee.
Coastal Georgia.
Black Southern history.
Gullah Geechee cultural influence.
Tourism.
Music.
Food.
The port.
Generations of people connected to the region.
That’s why April should feel like more than another party weekend.
It should feel like a destination.
MAY 21–25
CRUSH ATLANTA® — MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Then everything changes.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
MAY 21–25, 2026
No beach required.
Atlanta brings its own gravity.
Music.
Entertainment.
Fashion.
Sports.
Black business.
Nightlife.
Creators.
Athletes.
Entrepreneurs.
College students.
Young professionals.
Visitors.
Memorial Day Weekend.
By May, CRUSH moves from coastal destination culture into major-city culture.
That requires a different strategy.
Atlanta doesn’t need another random party.
Atlanta has parties every night.
The experience has to compete with the city itself.
That’s what makes the market exciting.
JUNE 19–21
JACKSONVILLE JUNETEENTH WEEKEND
Then the road returns to Florida.
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
JUNE 19–21, 2026
Juneteenth weekend.
Southern market.
Coastal energy.
Florida.
Jacksonville gives the spring and early-summer CRUSH run a natural final chapter.
Miami opened the season.
Savannah/Tybee brought it home.
Atlanta took it into the city.
Jacksonville closes the spring/summer run back near the water.
Then CRUSH does something important.
It resets.
Because what comes next requires a completely different identity.
SPRING, WE TRAVEL.
Spring Break is about movement.
Road trips.
Flights.
Beaches.
Hotels.
Friends.
Destinations.
Leaving.
Then fall arrives.
And the emotional direction reverses.
People aren’t trying to get away anymore.
They’re trying to get back.
Back to campus.
Back to classmates.
Back to traditions.
Back to the band.
Back to the tailgate.
Back to the stadium.
Back to the yard.
Back to where part of their adult identity began.
FALL, WE COME HOME.
OCTOBER 2
ATLANTA — GEORGIA STATE HOMECOMING WINDOW
The fall CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ movement begins in Atlanta.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2026
Downtown.
Georgia State.
College culture inside the center of one of America’s most important entertainment and business cities.
Friday provides the opening-night opportunity.
Then the road moves immediately.
OCTOBER 3
ATHENS — UGA HOMECOMING
Twenty-four hours later:
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2026
ATHENS, GEORGIA
Completely different environment.
College town.
SEC football.
Alumni.
Tradition.
Sanford Stadium.
Red and black.
Atlanta Friday.
Athens Saturday.
That’s how the fall begins.
Not with two identical events.
With two completely different Georgia college markets operating back-to-back.
OCTOBER 9
ATLANTA — AUC HOMECOMING KICKOFF
Then the focus shifts toward one of the most important concentrations of Black higher education in America.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026
Morehouse.
Spelman.
Clark Atlanta.
The Atlanta University Center.
The CRUSH target is Friday.
The strategy is bigger than simply putting another party in Atlanta.
The AUC carries history.
Tradition.
Student leadership.
Greek life.
Fashion.
Entrepreneurship.
Alumni power.
Black excellence.
Any serious cultural platform entering that environment should understand what it is entering.
OCTOBER 10
ALBANY STATE HOMECOMING
Then south.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2026
ALBANY, GEORGIA
Golden Rams.
South Georgia.
HBCU Homecoming.
Different market.
Different rhythm.
Different audience.
Albany doesn’t need to imitate Atlanta.
That’s the point.
A real tour respects local culture rather than trying to copy and paste one city into another.
OCTOBER 16–17
SAVANNAH STATE HOMECOMING
Then something interesting happens.
CRUSH returns to Savannah.
But this isn’t April.
And that distinction is essential.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16
SAVANNAH STATE HOMECOMING KICKOFF
Then:
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17
SAVANNAH STATE HOMECOMING
Spring Savannah is coastal destination culture.
Fall Savannah is college Homecoming culture.
Same city.
Completely different emotional engine.
And the current CRUSH plan gives this stop another advantage:
SEY HEY.
Friday night.
Saturday night.
A two-night Savannah Homecoming opportunity built around an established venue target.
APRIL SAVANNAH IS NOT OCTOBER SAVANNAH
This deserves emphasis.
April:
Savannah + Tybee.
Beach.
Travel.
Spring.
Destination.
October:
Savannah State.
Football.
Students.
Alumni.
HBCU tradition.
Homecoming.
That gives Savannah a unique position inside the CRUSH calendar.
It can appear twice without repeating itself.
The city changes because the purpose changes.
NOVEMBER 6–7
STATESBORO — GEORGIA SOUTHERN HOMECOMING
Then the finale.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2026
Statesboro.
Georgia Southern.
Eagle Nation.
Football.
Students.
Alumni.
College-town concentration.
By this point, the tour has moved through multiple versions of Georgia college culture.
Atlanta.
Athens.
The AUC.
Albany.
Savannah.
Finally:
Statesboro.
The road ends where another university community is coming home.
NOW LOOK AT THE YEAR
Don’t look at individual flyers.
Look at the architecture.
SPRING / EARLY SUMMER 2026
MARCH 13–16
MIAMI
↓
APRIL 16–19
SAVANNAH / TYBEE
↓
MAY 21–25
ATLANTA
↓
JUNE 19–21
JACKSONVILLE
Then reset.
Then:
CRUSH UNIVERSITY™
FALL HOMECOMING TOUR

ATLANTA

OCTOBER 3
ATHENS
↓
OCTOBER 9
ATLANTA / AUC
↓
OCTOBER 10
ALBANY
↓
OCTOBER 16–17
SAVANNAH
↓
NOVEMBER 6–7
STATESBORO
Now the larger idea becomes visible.
BEACHES IN SPRING.
CAMPUSES IN FALL.
That’s the architecture.
But underneath it is something even simpler.
Human behavior.
Spring says:
Let’s go somewhere.
Fall says:
Let’s go back.
Spring Break is escape.
Homecoming is return.
One is built around destination.
The other is built around identity.
CRUSH sits between them.
THIS ISN’T ABOUT MAKING EVERY CITY THE SAME
Exactly the opposite.
Miami should feel like Miami.
Tybee should feel like Tybee.
Savannah should feel like Savannah.
Atlanta should feel like Atlanta.
Jacksonville should feel like Jacksonville.
Athens should feel like Athens.
Albany should feel like Albany.
Statesboro should feel like Statesboro.
The brand can travel.
The culture should remain local.
That’s how a tour grows without becoming generic.
AND NOT EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ANNOUNCED YET
A calendar is not a contract.
A target market is not a secured venue.
A conversation is not a partnership.
And an independent CRUSH event should never be presented as an official university event unless that relationship actually exists.
That distinction protects everybody.
Universities have their programming.
CRUSH has its programming.
Where the cultures intersect, there is opportunity.
But credibility requires accuracy.
So the public can know the cities.
The public can know the dates CRUSH is building around.
The public can understand the vision.
The rest gets announced when it’s ready.
Venue.
Promoter.
Host.
Talent.
Partnership.
Sponsor.
Activation.
One reveal at a time.
BECAUSE THE GOAL ISN’T TO WIN THE FLYER
It’s to build the year.
One successful market creates momentum for another.
Miami creates content for Savannah/Tybee.
Savannah/Tybee creates momentum for Atlanta.
Atlanta feeds Jacksonville.
The spring run builds the brand.
Then fall introduces CRUSH UNIVERSITY™.
Now the same ecosystem touches:
Beach culture.
Travel.
Music.
Fashion.
Nightlife.
College culture.
Athletics.
Homecoming.
Student entrepreneurship.
Alumni.
Media.
Business.
That’s not one event.
That’s a platform.
CRUSH HAS A CALENDAR NOW.
And the calendar tells a story.
March: Miami.
April: Savannah/Tybee.
May: Atlanta.
June: Jacksonville.
Then:
October: Atlanta. Athens. The AUC. Albany. Savannah.
November: Statesboro.
From the beach—
to the city—
to the yard—
to the stadium—
to the afterparty—
and back down the highway again.
SPRING, WE TRAVEL.
FALL, WE COME HOME.

CRUSH 2026
One Tybee weekend.
One connected calendar.
Multiple cities.
Multiple campuses.
One year built to move.
The road is getting longer.
The story is getting bigger.
And class is almost in session.
