BAD BADDIES LOVE’ SEX: CONFIDENCE, COLLABORATION, AND THE AFTER-HOURS SIDE OF PLUG NOT A RAPPER

From “BBL’S & HUSTLERZ” to “Rawest,” the 2024 project gives listeners another way into PartyPlugMikey’s catalog

CRUSH MAGAZINE | MUSIC • NIGHTLIFE • CULTURE

There are nights when the music starts before the outfit is finished. Somebody is choosing what to wear, somebody else is deciding where the group is going, and the first song sets the mood for everything that follows.

That’s the space where Plug Not A Rapper’s (B.B.L.’S) Bad Baddies Love’ Sex invites listeners to press play.

Released in 2024, the project brings together titles including “BBL’S & HUSTLERZ,” “Greatest,” “Good Good,” “Rawest,” and “What I Like.” The CRUSH music page presents it as an adult club and after-hours chapter of the catalog, with visuals for “Rawest” and “Greatest.”

A project for the pre-game and beyond

The title Bad Baddies Love’ Sex is direct, playful, and built to get attention. But the project’s appeal as a listening destination goes beyond its name: it gives fans a chance to spend time with several records from an earlier period of the Plug Not A Rapper catalog.

Start with “BBL’S & HUSTLERZ,” then move through “Greatest” and “Good Good.” When “Rawest” arrives, TaliRaqs joins the conversation. “What I Like” gives listeners another point of discovery as they continue through the project.

The CRUSH new-music page describes “Good Good” as a smoother, late-night selection and “What I Like” as a more reflective moment. Those contrasts offer a way to introduce the album to listeners who want different moods across a night out.

“Rawest” featuring TaliRaqs

A collaboration gives listeners two artists to discover—and “Rawest” connects Plug Not A Rapper with TaliRaqs on a record that also has its own video.

For someone finding the project through a visual, “Rawest” is a place to start. Watch the video, stream the song, and then continue into the album.
