CRUSH THE BLOCK: THE LINK-UP STARTS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

CRUSH Magazine | Orange Crush Tour × CRUSH Reloaded Soundtrack Series

Somebody sends the address. Somebody asks who’s riding. The playlist gets passed to the person in the passenger seat.

For this CRUSH THE BLOCK edition, the soundtrack follows three moments: the ride over, the arrival, and the gathering. Our editorial selections bring “Turn Up da Strip,” “Gold Bottles,” and “Rawest” featuring TALIRAQS into one listening sequence.

Put the music in the plans. Give everybody a link before the link-up.

“TURN UP DA STRIP” — THE RIDE OVER

“Turn Up da Strip” gets the opening placement.

Its title makes a natural introduction to this chapter’s sense of movement: friends leaving different neighborhoods, meeting along the way, and heading toward the same destination. Queue the record before departure and give the passenger the next selection.

The drive can be part of the memory, too—the conversation, the outfit checks, the friend insisting everybody needs to hear one more song.

“GOLD BOTTLES” — MAKE AN ENTRANCE, BRING YOUR PEOPLE

For the arrival portion, “Gold Bottles” takes the spotlight.

We’re giving it the celebration slot in this proposed playlist: the moment friends find each other, introductions happen, and everybody finally gets into the same picture. Let the occasion include the people who made the trip with you.

Send the song to the friend organizing the crew. Give them something to add alongside the address and arrival time.

“RAWEST” FEATURING TALIRAQS — PUT THE ARTISTS FRONT AND CENTER

Once everybody’s together, give the music some focused attention.

“Rawest” is this edition’s featured collaboration. The song and its official video offer two ways to get acquainted with the release—and a reason to introduce both Plug Not A Rapper and TALIRAQS to somebody who’s hearing them for the first time.

Pull up the video during the pregame. Share the listening link afterward. Let the discovery last longer than the gathering.

YOUR CREW GETS THE NEXT PICK

Start with these three selections, then pass the choice around. Which record belongs on the ride? Which one gets sent to the group chat afterward? Which artist does somebody want to explore next?

That’s the invitation for this CRUSH THE BLOCK chapter: show up with your people and leave with more music.
