FOUNDER ENERGY: THREE WAYS INTO PLUG NOT A RAPPER’S CRUSH CULTURE SOCIETY

CRUSH Magazine | Music & Culture

Put “Founder,” “Open2Real,” and “Type Action Word” in the queue.

This edition moves into Crush Culture Society, the eight-song, 25-minute project released September 3, 2026. All three selections carry verified Plug Not A Rapper credits, with Party Plug Mikey featured. Together, they offer a focused introduction to the project’s identity, personality, and flirtation. “Founder” — The Introduction Has a Job Title

“Founder” is a striking name for an opening record. Before the listener presses play, it puts ownership in the conversation: the person creating something, naming it, and taking responsibility for what follows.

CRUSH’s published album coverage positions the opener as a declaration of identity, followed by a closer look at the personality behind it. That makes “Founder” the natural starting point for this listening session. Begin at the front door. Let Plug make the introduction. (orangecrushfestival.net)

“Open2Real” — Personality Gets the Spotlight

“Open2Real” follows “Founder” as the album’s second track. CRUSH’s accompanying coverage emphasizes unconventional phrasing, humor, status, and a delivery that moves between conversation and declaration. It presents the song as a showcase for Mikey’s individual vocabulary and character. (orangecrushfestival.net)

That is the invitation here: get acquainted with the person behind the name. Listen for the expressions, the turns of phrase, and the details that make an artist recognizable. Give “Open2Real” its own moment before moving through the rest of the project.

“Type Action Word” — Let the Title Start the Conversation

“Type Action Word” brings a different concept into focus. The official CRUSH feature frames it around attraction and body language—the things people communicate through movement and presence. (orangecrushfestival.net)

Even the title gives listeners something to unpack. What does somebody’s behavior say before they explain themselves? What happens when the look, the gesture, or the movement becomes the message? That premise gives this selection a distinct place in the three-song spotlight.

Put it next in the queue and let the conversation continue.
