FOUNDER: MEET THE ARTIST BEHIND THE CRUSH NAME

CRUSH Magazine | Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded Music Spotlight

Before a crowd gathers, somebody has to imagine what brings everyone together.

“Founder” opens Crush Culture Society, the 2026 project by Mr Crush and Plug Not A Rapper featuring PartyPlugMikey. It gives listeners an introduction to the artist’s identity at the intersection of music, entertainment and CRUSH.

For people who know Mikey through Orange Crush, the title offers a reason to follow that recognition into his music. “Founder” puts a word associated with building at the front of the project. The rest of the album gives listeners more of the personality and creative world connected to it.

The song also belongs in the conversation around Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded. The same name people may recognize from the festival can be found on a recording they can stream, share and add to their own playlists.

Start with “Founder,” then continue through Crush Culture Society. Hear where the album takes you after its opening statement, from “Type Action Word” to “New Era Eve.”

For the artist, the founder and the audience, the connection begins with one record.

Press play on “Founder” and meet another side of Mr CRUSH.
