A live release offers a particular kind of introduction. The listener can follow the performer’s phrasing, movement, and choices within a performance setting. For anyone exploring an artist through recorded songs, that is another part of the work worth encountering.

Here, the location also deserves attention. The Wormhole and Savannah remain in the release title, preserving where the performance is identified as taking place. The listing includes iCPortSavannah and CrushMagazine, too. Those names give the video a specific place within the archive. (music.apple.com)

For this viewing session, let the performance lead. Notice what draws your attention when the artist is delivering the song onstage. Then decide which moment you would replay for somebody discovering Plug Not A Rapper.

The title “Fukk Friends” makes a provocative introduction on its own. The live release gives that introduction somewhere to go: a named venue, a documented performance, and a direct invitation to watch.

Put it on the screen and spend a few minutes with this Savannah chapter.
