MEDIEVAL MAYOR KIRK KOUSIN: ENTER ANOTHER WORLD ON AM ORIGINAL

CRUSH Magazine | Music + Creative Culture

“Medieval Mayor Kirk Kousin” is a title that demands a second look.

The selection appears on Am Original, credited to Mr Crush, Plug Not A Rapper and Party Plug Mikey. It joins CRUSH Magazine’s Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded music series as an invitation to explore one of the project’s most unusual names.

The title introduces a character before the music begins. That makes it a conversation starter for listeners who enjoy finding personality and imagination inside an artist’s catalog.

Open the record on its own, then explore it within Am Original. The project also includes “CRUSH WORLD CUP,” “mood SWINGERZ” and “ClimateControlla”—titles that give listeners several distinct places to start.

For the Tybee crowd, the song adds another possibility to the playlist and performance discussion. For someone discovering PartyPlugMikey through Orange Crush, it offers a reason to spend more time with the artist’s newer work.

Send “Medieval Mayor Kirk Kousin” to the friend who likes finding the unexpected selection on an album. Let the song introduce itself.

One memorable title. One more chapter of Am Original. Press play.
