NEW ERA EVE: THE NEXT CHAPTER HAS A SOUNDTRACK
CRUSH Magazine | Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded Music Spotlight
The best part of a new chapter is the moment just before it begins.
“New Era Eve” closes Crush Culture Society, the project by Mr Crush and Plug Not A Rapper featuring Party Plug Mikey. Its title gives listeners a sense of anticipation: something has been built, and something else is ready to begin.
For the Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded music conversation, the record offers a fitting connection to the people making plans for what comes next. Students approach a new semester. Graduates reconnect with friends. Artists and entrepreneurs bring new work to the audience they have been building.
Listen to “New Era Eve” on its own, then start Crush Culture Society from the beginning with “Founder.” The opening and closing tracks give the project two clear points of entry: the person behind the world and the possibility of where it goes next.
Add the song to the ride home as easily as the ride toward Tybee. A weekend ends, but the music and the connections made around it can stay in rotation.
The next chapter is coming. Start with “New Era Eve.”
