RICH CHIEF: PARTYPLUGMIKEY BRINGS AMBITION TO THE TYBEE PLAYLIST
CRUSH Magazine | Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded Music Spotlight
Everybody has their own definition of rich.
For some, it is the money. For others, it is the freedom to build something, take care of their people and enjoy what they worked for.
“Rich Chief” brings that conversation into Am Original, the project credited to Mr Crush, Plug Not A Rapper and Party Plug Mikey. Previous CRUSH coverage has connected the record to wealth, ambition and luxury imagery—ideas that give listeners another perspective on Mikey’s creative world.
For the Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded playlist, “Rich Chief” offers a different kind of selection. The weekend is full of people bringing their own ambitions to the coast: business owners, artists, graduates and friends taking time to celebrate how far they have come.
Put the record on while getting ready or during the drive. Then share it with somebody who understands the work behind the celebration.
“Rich Chief” is also a way into Am Original for listeners who have already discovered “BeenJammin,” “what time” or “CRUSH WORLD CUP.” Follow the song into the project and hear more from the artist behind the PartyPlugMikey name.
Bring your people. Celebrate your progress. Press play on “Rich Chief.”
