THE CRUSH LEGACY TIMELINE: 34 YEARS, THREE IDENTITIES, ONE LIFE BIGGER THAN ONE INDUSTRY

From a Savannah childhood to athletic recognition, military service, corporate sales, cultural entrepreneurship, music, digital innovation, and the pursuit of generational impact.

CRUSH MAGAZINE EXCLUSIVE | THE LEGACY & EMPIRE SERIES | ISSUE 010

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA — OCTOBER 2026

Some people build a résumé.

Others build a reputation.

A few spend their lives building something that cannot be explained by one job title, one company, one album, or one accomplishment.

George Ransom Turner III — known as Mikey — belongs to a story that stretches across multiple chapters.

The Savannah kid.

The student-athlete.

The college student.

The soldier.

The salesman.

The business developer.

The entertainment entrepreneur.

The independent artist.

The father.

The man developing a vision for technology, community development, and a legacy extending beyond his lifetime.

To music audiences, he is Mr CRUSH, PartyPlugMikey, and Plug Not A Rapper.

ONE ARTIST. THREE IDENTITIES. ONE CONTINUING STORY.

But the larger history begins long before the music.

And the most revealing way to understand it is to follow the timeline.

1992 — THE BLOODLINE BEGINS IN SAVANNAH.

August 10, 1992. Savannah, Georgia.

George Ransom Turner III is born.

His name carries a generational connection, while the nickname Mikey becomes the identity familiar to people throughout his life.

The Savannah foundation includes Cloverdale and the relationships, family history, and neighborhood experiences that shaped his early years.

Those roots would eventually become central to the CRUSH identity.

Not as a fictional hometown narrative.

As the beginning of the actual story.

BEFORE THE WORLD KNEW MR CRUSH, SAVANNAH KNEW MIKEY.

THE 1990s–EARLY 2000s — FAMILY, EDUCATION & THE FORMATIVE YEARS.

Mikey’s early educational journey includes Ramah and EOA Head Start, Butler Elementary, and DeRenne Middle School.

His childhood also includes the profound loss of his mother, Tonya Levette Turner.

That experience became an important part of his personal history, shaping the emotional realities behind a personality later associated with confidence, celebration, and larger-than-life entertainment.

The early years establish a recurring contrast.

Joy and grief.

Family and independence.

Ambition and uncertainty.

Competition and vulnerability.

The complete story cannot be reduced to the public entertainer.

SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT CHAPTERS HAPPEN BEFORE THE FIRST AUDIENCE ARRIVES.

2005–2010 — THE ATHLETE EMERGES.

Sports become a major part of Mikey’s development.

His athletic history includes football, basketball, competitive youth programs, and eventually Calvary Day School.

The documented résumé identifies him as a Calvary Day basketball captain during 2008–2010.

It also records a 2008–2009 GHSA Region 3A championship.

His athletic history includes recognition associated with the Wendy’s High School Heisman program in 2010.

These achievements reflect a chapter built around preparation, competition, and performance.

The court also helps develop a quality that would later become central to the entertainment identity:

Confidence in front of people.

BEFORE THE STAGE LIGHTS, THERE WERE GYM LIGHTS.

2006–2010 — THE EARLY PROMOTION YEARS.

Alongside athletics and school, Mikey’s account of his early entrepreneurial development includes entertainment promotion and youth social events.

The George Mikey Entertainment and Party Plug identity begins taking shape during this period.

These early activities establish a connection between social culture, organizing people, and recognizing entertainment opportunities.

The scale and financial results of these early projects remain to be documented individually.

But they represent an important developmental stage.

The eventual entrepreneur did not begin thinking about entertainment only after releasing music.

The interest in promotion and gathering audiences came earlier.

THE PARTY PLUG PERSONALITY WAS DEVELOPING BEFORE THE BRAND HAD ITS FINAL NAME.

2010–2011 — HIGH SCHOOL ENDS. A NEW WORLD OPENS.

The transition out of Calvary Day leads into higher education and new environments.

Mikey’s educational history includes Clark Atlanta University and Savannah State University.

His résumé records a 2011 Tom Joyner Scholarship associated with Clark Atlanta.

College life also introduces new relationships and stronger connections with HBCU culture.

Atlanta offers a different environment from Savannah.

New networks.

New opportunities.

New competition.

And new perspectives on entertainment, business, and identity.

THE CITY CHANGED. THE AMBITION KEPT GROWING.

2011 — ORANGE CRUSH ENTERS THE PERSONAL TIMELINE.

Orange Crush already had a history connected to Black college social culture and the Savannah–Tybee Island area.

Mikey’s account places his involvement in the Orange Crush entertainment environment beginning around 2011.

Over time, that involvement develops into promotional, organizational, and brand-related business activity.

This is a crucial distinction in the historical record.

The longstanding gathering was not created by Mikey.

His entrepreneurial chapter concerns his participation in, promotion of, and later business development around the Orange Crush name and related experiences.

CULTURE HAS A HISTORY. ENTREPRENEURSHIP HAS A TIMELINE. BOTH DESERVE TO BE TOLD ACCURATELY.

2012–2016 — COMCAST BUSINESS & THE CORPORATE SALES FOUNDATION.

Mikey’s master résumé identifies a period associated with Comcast Business from 2012 through 2016.

This chapter introduces experience in commercial telecommunications and business-to-business customer relationships.

Sales becomes a practical education in understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, and communicating value.

His résumé also lists Comcast President’s List recognition spanning 2015–2018; the precise award dates and their relationship to his employment timeline require reconciliation before individual honors are formally presented as verified.

The significance of the period is the development of commercial skills that would later support entertainment and entrepreneurship.

LEARNING HOW TO ATTRACT AN AUDIENCE IS ONE SKILL. LEARNING HOW TO DEVELOP A CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP IS ANOTHER.

2013–2014 — THE ARMY TRAINING CHAPTER.

The military record provides specific training milestones.

November 12, 2013 – February 7, 2014: Basic Combat Training.

February 10 – April 16, 2014: Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Specialist training.

This establishes a documented technical military-training foundation.

The 74D CBRN specialty involves preparation for hazardous environments, detection and response procedures, and operational readiness.

Mikey also identifies 92A logistics experience as part of his military background.

The combination of military operations and logistical thinking becomes important to his later interest in systems, business organization, and technology.

THE SOLDIER WAS LEARNING THAT THE DETAILS BEHIND A MISSION MATTER AS MUCH AS THE MISSION ITSELF.

2015–2016 — THE INTERNATIONAL MILITARY EXPERIENCE.

Mikey identifies overseas service in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia during 2015–2016.

The experience places the Savannah-born soldier in an international environment.

It expands his exposure to different cultures, operational systems, and ways of life.

Basketball also remains part of his identity during this period, including his account of participation in military recreational competition in Kuwait.

The overseas chapter becomes a bridge between hometown experiences and a broader international perspective.

SAVANNAH BUILT THE FOUNDATION. MILITARY SERVICE EXPANDED THE HORIZON.

2016–2022 — DIGITAL ADVERTISING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.

Mikey’s résumé identifies Vivial Media experience spanning 2016–2022, including the broader Vivial/Thryv business environment.

This professional chapter connects commercial sales with digital advertising, customer acquisition, and online business visibility.

His résumé lists President’s List recognition associated with Vivial/Thryv for 2020–2022.

Those awards are valuable parts of his professional record, with certificates, employer records, and precise performance results representing the next level of supporting documentation.

The professional focus becomes increasingly relevant to his independent entrepreneurial activities.

Marketing.

Lead generation.

Business relationships.

Digital presence.

And the process of turning attention into commercial opportunity.

THE MUSIC CAREER WOULD EVENTUALLY NEED MANY OF THE SAME SKILLS THE SALES CAREER WAS DEVELOPING.

2019–2021 — OWNERSHIP, BRAND IDENTITY & A MAJOR ENTREPRENEURIAL MILESTONE.

The Orange Crush business chapter becomes increasingly connected to brand identity and intellectual property.

Mikey identifies 2021 as the year his Orange Crush trademark registration was finalized.

That is an important milestone in his account of the entrepreneurial journey.

Trademark rights and the history of the underlying cultural gathering are distinct matters.

A registered mark does not erase the earlier cultural history or automatically establish ownership over every use of a phrase.

But intellectual-property development can be significant for an entrepreneur seeking to establish a recognizable business identity.

This period marks a shift toward thinking about entertainment through the language of brand assets, operations, and long-term commercial organization.

THE NAME WAS NO LONGER JUST SOMETHING PEOPLE RECOGNIZED. IT WAS SOMETHING HE WAS WORKING TO DEVELOP AS A BUSINESS ASSET.

2022 — THE CRUSH ECOSYSTEM EXPANDS.

Mikey’s account identifies 2022 as an important period in the development of CRUSH-related sub-brands.

The wider creative and entrepreneurial identity includes entertainment, media, promotional concepts, music, and merchandising ideas.

Different names begin serving different functions within the overall ecosystem.

PartyPlugMikey reflects the event and social identity.

Plug Not A Rapper reflects the independent music and creative mindset.

Mr CRUSH increasingly becomes the larger-than-life character connecting the entertainment worlds.

These identities do not represent three separate artists.

They are different expressions of the same individual.

ONE PERSON. MULTIPLE CREATIVE LANGUAGES.

THE EARLY-TO-MID 2020s — MUSIC BECOMES A GROWING PUBLIC ARCHIVE.

Across his catalog, Mikey develops records and projects that connect Southern hip-hop, party culture, personal experiences, romance, car culture, and cultural references.

The work extends through the Plug Not A Rapper and Mr CRUSH identities.

Songs such as “Somebody Bih,” “99 & 3000,” and “Type Action Word” become important within his own catalog evaluation.

In October 2026, he conducts a 128-song CRUSH March Madness tournament to compare records from different periods and styles.

The final artist-selected champion is “Somebody Bih,” defeating “Type Action Word.”

That result is an internal catalog competition, not an external streaming chart.

Its significance is creative and archival.

It demonstrates the scale of the catalog the artist is organizing and the effort to evaluate his own work systematically.

THE CATALOG ISN’T JUST GROWING. IT’S BECOMING SOMETHING HE WANTS TO DOCUMENT, COMPARE, AND PRESERVE.

2025 — TYBEE EVENT OPERATIONS & A NEW PUBLIC CHAPTER.

Mikey identifies 2025 as a milestone in his Orange Crush-related event operations, including a permitted Tybee Island event.

This chapter represents an important development in the effort to connect cultural promotion with more formal event planning.

Permits, public safety coordination, local relationships, and operational responsibilities are important components of organized entertainment.

The specific event permits, attendance figures, financial results, and official partner records should accompany any more detailed historical claims.

But the reported milestone belongs in the entrepreneurial timeline.

AN EVENT IS WHAT PEOPLE EXPERIENCE. OPERATIONS ARE WHAT MAKE THE EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE.

2026 — THE YEAR THE CREATIVE WORLDS BEGIN CONNECTING.

In 2026, several important parts of the CRUSH story become more visible.

Music.

Visual storytelling.

Magazine publishing.

Business marketing.

Artist identity.

Catalog development.

And long-term legacy planning.

The central creative statement becomes clear:

ONE ARTIST. THREE IDENTITIES. ONE CRUSH UNIVERSE.

2026 — AM ORIGINAL: THE TEN-SONG MOTION-PICTURE VISION.

The AM ORIGINAL project develops into a ten-song visual entertainment concept.

ACT I

  1. OnlyFanz

  2. Climate Controlla

  3. Been Jammin

  4. What Time

  5. CRUSH World Cup

ACT II

  1. Rich Chief

  2. Mood Swingerz

  3. Medieval Mayor Mikey Hendrixxx

  4. Mr Unanimous

  5. Sumn Rare

Each record is paired with its own visual direction.

Animated worlds.

Stylized characters.

Luxury imagery.

Cultural references.

Dance.

Comedy.

Romance.

And a recognizable oversized-head version of Mr CRUSH.

The project also includes a planned combined motion-picture presentation, bringing the individual videos together with a single introductory sequence.

The ambition is to create more than a conventional album rollout.

TEN RECORDS. TEN WORLDS. ONE CONNECTED CREATIVE EXPERIENCE.

OCTOBER 2026 — CRUSH MAGAZINE BEGINS BUILDING THE LEGACY ARCHIVE.

CRUSH Magazine develops a larger editorial series documenting the person behind the entertainment.

The coverage expands through several major themes.

Savannah upbringing.

Music and visual storytelling.

Sales and entrepreneurship.

Military service.

Technology and blockchain interests.

Community development.

And international ambition.

This creates a foundation for a more complete biographical archive.

Not simply a promotional page.

But a structured collection of stories that can eventually support interviews, documentary development, memoir writing, and historical reference.

THE MUSIC TELLS PEOPLE WHAT HE CREATES. THE ARCHIVE BEGINS EXPLAINING WHO CREATED IT.

2026 — SELECT MORTGAGE & THE CONTINUING BUSINESS CAREER.

Alongside the creative projects, Mikey’s professional responsibilities include marketing, sales, customer-service processing, and content development associated with Select Mortgage.

His work focuses on consumer communication and marketing across Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.

This is another example of the business and creative identities existing simultaneously.

Professional marketing informs content strategy.

Customer communication informs audience relationships.

And commercial experience provides a different perspective on building an independent entertainment enterprise.

The full performance record — campaign results, sales figures, conversion outcomes, and leadership accomplishments — remains a separate area for detailed documentation.

THE ENTERTAINER CREATES THE MOMENT. THE BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL UNDERSTANDS THE WORK BEHIND THE MOMENT.

THE NEXT CHAPTER — TECHNOLOGY, BLOCKCHAIN & DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE.

Mikey’s longer-term entrepreneurial interests include information technology, digital ownership, and blockchain-related concepts.

Crush Coin is among the ideas associated with this technology vision.

These concepts are part of the forward-looking timeline.

They are not presented as fully launched products, verified commercial successes, or established financial platforms.

The meaningful next milestones would be practical ones.

Working software.

Clear product functionality.

Documented users.

Responsible security and legal planning.

And measurable outcomes.

THE IDEA IS THE BEGINNING. THE LAUNCH IS A MILESTONE. THE RESULTS TELL THE REAL STORY.

THE NEXT CHAPTER — PHILANTHROPY & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

The CRUSH vision also extends toward youth development, education, athletics, veterans, entrepreneurship, and community opportunity.

Those areas connect naturally to Mikey’s personal experiences.

Savannah roots.

School athletics.

Military service.

Business development.

And the cultural networks associated with entertainment.

The next stage is to identify and document actual contributions, partnerships, beneficiaries, and results.

That is what will allow a future CRUSH philanthropy timeline to distinguish completed impact from intended impact.

A LEGACY IS STRONGEST WHEN SOMEBODY ELSE CAN POINT TO HOW IT HELPED THEM.

THE NEXT CHAPTER — FROM SAVANNAH TO THE WORLD.

The long-term vision includes wider creative reach, international collaboration, technology development, and business expansion.

But the story is not complete simply because the ambition is large.

Its future chapters will be written through execution.

Partnerships completed.

Products launched.

Audiences reached.

Organizations built.

People supported.

And results that can be documented.

The world may be the ambition.

But Savannah remains the foundation.

THE 912 IS THE ORIGIN. THE NEXT MILESTONES WILL DEFINE THE REACH.

THE CRUSH LEGACY: MORE THAN ONE TITLE, MORE THAN ONE CAREER.

Look at the timeline as a whole.

A Savannah childhood.

A family history.

An athletic foundation.

A college experience.

A military career.

Overseas service.

Commercial sales.

Digital marketing.

Cultural entrepreneurship.

Intellectual-property development.

Independent music.

Animated entertainment.

Media publishing.

Technology interests.

And a growing vision for community and international impact.

These chapters do not all represent the same kind of achievement.

Some are documented milestones.

Some are personal experiences.

Some are entrepreneurial projects.

Some are creative accomplishments.

And others are still developing ambitions.

But together, they explain why the CRUSH identity has never fit comfortably inside one professional category.

THE ARTIST IS ONLY ONE PART OF THE BIOGRAPHY.

The larger story is George Ransom Turner III.

A man whose path has moved through multiple institutions, industries, communities, and creative environments.

And whose next challenge is to turn the breadth of that experience into a lasting, well-documented legacy.

1992: THE BLOODLINE.

2000s: THE FOUNDATION.

2010s: THE ATHLETE, SOLDIER & BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL.

2020s: THE ENTREPRENEUR, ARTIST & BRAND BUILDER.

THE FUTURE: THE LEGACY STILL TO BE EARNED.

THE CRUSH LEGACY TIMELINE.

THREE IDENTITIES. DECADES OF EXPERIENCES. ONE LIFE STILL IN MOTION.
