THE ROAD DOESN’T END AT HOMECOMING
How CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ Fall 2026 Can Build the Audience, Relationships and Momentum That Carry Into the 2027 Spring Beach Season
CRUSH MAGAZINE™ | FALL 2026 → SPRING 2027
November 7.
Statesboro.
Georgia Southern Homecoming.
The music eventually stops.
The venue empties.
Students go home.
Alumni get back on the highway.
Photographers begin editing.
Videos start appearing.
Everybody wakes up Sunday morning trying to reconstruct Saturday night.
And technically—
the CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ Fall 2026 Homecoming Tour is over.
Technically.
Because if the entire strategy disappears when Homecoming ends, then something was built incorrectly.
A real tour should leave behind more than flyers.
More than wristbands.
More than pictures.
More than a few packed rooms.
It should leave behind:
people.
Relationships.
Customers.
Promoters.
Creators.
Venues.
Sponsors.
Student connections.
Alumni connections.
Content.
Data.
Trust.
Market knowledge.
And momentum.
Because November isn’t the finish line.
It’s the bridge.
THE ROAD DOESN’T END AT HOMECOMING.
It leads directly toward Spring 2027.
OCTOBER 2 ISN’T JUST ONE NIGHT
Atlanta.
Georgia State.
Friday.
October 2.
Yes, the immediate objective is producing a successful event.
But there is another objective.
Learn.
Who bought?
When did they buy?
Where did they hear about it?
Which content worked?
Which promoters actually converted?
Which creators moved attention?
What price points worked?
What did customers love?
What frustrated them?
Who should be contacted again?
The event generates revenue.
The information can generate future revenue.
That’s the difference between throwing a party and building a company.
THEN ATHENS TEACHES SOMETHING ELSE
October 3.
UGA.
Athens.
Different customer.
Different city.
Different nightlife ecosystem.
Different traffic patterns.
Different competition.
Different cultural expectations.
That’s valuable.
The goal shouldn’t be proving the exact same formula works everywhere.
The goal should be discovering what works where.
Every stop becomes research.
THE AUC BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS THAT CAN LAST YEARS
October 9.
Atlanta again.
But now:
Morehouse.
Spelman.
Clark Atlanta.
Think beyond ticket sales.
Students graduate.
Students become alumni.
Student leaders become professional leaders.
Campus creators become professional creators.
Student entrepreneurs become founders.
Relationships established during college can compound for decades.
That makes the AUC more than another market.
It’s a long-term network.
ALBANY TEACHES REGIONAL LOYALTY
October 10.
Albany State.
Homecoming.
The customer relationship can operate differently in a regional market.
Word of mouth matters.
Trust matters.
Local promoters matter.
Community relationships matter.
People know each other.
That means reputation can move quickly.
Good reputation.
Or bad.
Execution becomes marketing.
SAVANNAH CREATES THE BRIDGE
October 16–17.
Savannah State.
Sey Hey.
Two nights.
But Savannah occupies a special position because CRUSH already knows the road comes back.
Not immediately.
Months later.
APRIL 16–19, 2027.
Savannah/Tybee.
That means Fall 2026 can create the beginning of a customer relationship that becomes valuable again in Spring 2027.
This is where the calendar starts compounding.
OCTOBER SAVANNAH CAN SELL APRIL SAVANNAH
Not literally at the door.
Strategically.
A customer attends in October.
Has a great experience.
Follows the brand.
Joins the email or SMS list voluntarily.
Watches the recap.
Sees CRUSH content throughout winter.
Then February arrives.
And suddenly:
SAVANNAH / TYBEE
APRIL 16–19, 2027.
The customer doesn’t have to discover CRUSH again.
They already know the brand.
That’s retention.
Retention is cheaper than constantly rebuilding an audience from zero.
STATESBORO SHOULDN’T BE THE END
November 6–7.
Georgia Southern.
Final scheduled Homecoming market.
The temptation after the finale is to disappear.
Don’t.
The week after the tour may be one of the most important media windows of the entire season.
Now you have a story.
Not:
“We’re going on tour.”
But:
“Look where we went.”
Atlanta.
Athens.
The AUC.
Albany.
Savannah.
Statesboro.
Students.
Alumni.
Fashion.
Football.
Bands.
Nightlife.
Creators.
Businesses.
Now the footage has context.
BUILD THE FALL 2026 ARCHIVE
Every stop should produce something permanent.
Photography.
Video.
Interviews.
Articles.
Customer testimonials.
Promoter interviews.
Student-business features.
DJ clips.
Fashion.
Campus culture.
City footage.
Behind-the-scenes production.
Not everything has to become content immediately.
Build the archive.
Because media has shelf life far beyond the event itself.
NOVEMBER SHOULD BECOME RECAP MONTH
Don’t rush everything into one Instagram carousel Sunday morning.
Stretch the story.
Best moments.
Best looks.
Best campus traditions.
Best student businesses discovered.
Best DJs.
Best photographers.
Best performances.
City-by-city recaps.
Behind-the-scenes.
Lessons learned.
Now one month of events can create months of media.
DECEMBER SHOULD BECOME OWNERSHIP MONTH
The parties are over.
Talk business.
Who built the tour?
Who worked it?
Who made money?
What did student entrepreneurs learn?
What did local businesses experience?
What did promoters learn about their markets?
What opportunities exist for 2027?
Show the machinery.
That’s how CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ becomes more than nightlife media.
JANUARY 2027: CHANGE THE WEATHER
It’s cold.
Perfect.
Start showing water.
Miami.
Tybee.
Jacksonville.
Pools.
Beaches.
Sun.
Spring.
Now you’re not simply promoting an event.
You’re selling relief.
Winter becomes part of the marketing.
The colder it gets—
the better the beach looks.
THEN THE QUESTION CHANGES
Fall:
“Who coming home?”
Spring:
“Where we going?”
That’s the psychological transition.
And the audience that traveled through Fall 2026 can now be introduced to the Spring 2027 destination calendar.
MARCH 13–16, 2027
MIAMI
The first major test of whether fall momentum can travel.
Homecoming audiences were geographically anchored to universities.
Miami is different.
Now customers have to move.
Book.
Travel.
Stay.
Plan.
That means the marketing cycle begins much earlier.
The destination is part of the product.
MIAMI CREATES THE FIRST SPRING CONTENT WAVE
Think about what one successful destination can generate.
Airport content.
Road-trip content.
Hotel content.
Beach content.
Fashion.
Music.
Nightlife.
Creators.
Photography.
Recaps.
Now Spring 2027 has a visual identity.
And immediately afterward—
Georgia starts seeing April.
APRIL 16–19, 2027
SAVANNAH / TYBEE
One Tybee weekend.
One Savannah/Tybee coastal experience.
No second Tybee date.
No Allenhurst extension.
Concentrated demand.
That’s important.
Scarcity matters.
If customers know there is one weekend—
the decision becomes clearer.
This is the weekend.
Come or miss it.
SAVANNAH IS WHERE FALL AND SPRING MEET
That’s why Savannah may be one of the most strategically important markets on the entire calendar.
OCTOBER 16–17, 2026
Savannah State Homecoming.
Then:
APRIL 16–19, 2027
Savannah/Tybee.
The city connects both seasons.
Campus culture.
Then coastal culture.
Homecoming.
Then beach.
Fall.
Then spring.
Savannah becomes the bridge.
MAY 21–25, 2027
CRUSH ATLANTA®
Memorial Day Weekend.
Now another Fall 2026 market reappears.
Atlanta was central to the Homecoming tour.
Georgia State.
The AUC.
Multiple October opportunities.
Months later, the same metropolitan audience receives another reason to gather.
But again:
Different season.
Different identity.
CRUSH ATLANTA® shouldn’t feel like a recycled college party.
It should feel like the next chapter.
JUNE 19–21, 2027
JACKSONVILLE
Juneteenth weekend.
The final Spring 2027 destination market.
Now the brand has potentially traveled through:
Georgia college culture.
Florida Spring Break.
Coastal Georgia.
Atlanta Memorial Day.
Jacksonville Juneteenth.
That’s an ecosystem.
BUT NONE OF THIS WORKS WITHOUT RETENTION
This is the business lesson.
Attention is expensive.
If you earn it—
keep the relationship.
Not through spam.
Through value.
Good events.
Useful information.
Interesting articles.
Great photography.
Exclusive announcements.
Early ticket opportunities.
City guides.
Student features.
Music.
Culture.
Give people reasons to remain connected between events.
SOCIAL MEDIA IS RENTED LAND
Algorithms change.
Accounts get restricted.
Platforms rise.
Platforms fall.
A brand should build direct audience infrastructure too.
Website.
Email.
SMS—with proper consent.
Customer database.
Ticket-buyer history.
Media archive.
Search visibility.
Those are assets.
Followers matter.
Ownership matters more.
EVERY EVENT SHOULD BUILD THE NEXT EVENT
Atlanta should help Athens.
Athens should help the AUC.
The AUC should help Albany.
Albany should help Savannah.
Savannah should help Statesboro.
Then all of Fall 2026 should help:
Miami.
Miami should help Savannah/Tybee.
Savannah/Tybee should help Atlanta.
Atlanta should help Jacksonville.
Now momentum compounds instead of resetting.
EVERY ARTICLE SHOULD BUILD THE NEXT ARTICLE
Same principle.
One piece introduces the calendar.
Another explains the culture.
Another introduces student leaders.
Another covers entrepreneurs.
Another covers music.
Another covers athletics.
Another covers fashion.
Another covers the economics.
Another covers the cities.
Now CRUSH Magazine™ isn’t waiting for events to have something to publish.
The media platform becomes active year-round.
EVERY RELATIONSHIP SHOULD OPEN ANOTHER DOOR
A promoter introduces a venue.
A venue introduces a sponsor.
A student introduces a creator.
A creator introduces an artist.
An alumnus introduces a business.
A business becomes a sponsor.
A sponsor expands into another city.
That’s how networks grow.
Not through one giant miracle.
Through hundreds of useful relationships.
EVERY CITY SHOULD BECOME AN ASSET
Not simply a place you visited.
Atlanta:
Relationships.
Athens:
Relationships.
Albany:
Relationships.
Savannah:
Relationships.
Statesboro:
Relationships.
Miami:
Relationships.
Jacksonville:
Relationships.
Eventually the map itself becomes valuable.
Because CRUSH knows people in each market.
That’s infrastructure.
THIS IS HOW EVENTS BECOME TOURS
And tours become platforms.
And platforms become institutions.
Not overnight.
Repeatedly.
City by city.
Customer by customer.
Relationship by relationship.
Year by year.
FALL 2026 IS THE FOUNDATION
OCTOBER 2
ATLANTA.
OCTOBER 3
ATHENS.
OCTOBER 9
AUC / ATLANTA.
OCTOBER 10
ALBANY.
OCTOBER 16–17
SAVANNAH.
NOVEMBER 6–7
STATESBORO.
Don’t treat those as isolated weekends.
Treat them as the first semester.
SPRING 2027 IS THE EXPANSION
MARCH 13–16
MIAMI.
APRIL 16–19
SAVANNAH / TYBEE.
MAY 21–25
ATLANTA.
JUNE 19–21
JACKSONVILLE.
Don’t start from zero.
Carry the audience forward.
CRUSH UNIVERSITY™ BUILDS THE CAMPUS NETWORK.
CRUSH MAGAZINE™ DOCUMENTS THE CULTURE.
CRUSH MOVES THE EXPERIENCE.
Then everything feeds everything else.
Media sells events.
Events create media.
Media attracts sponsors.
Sponsors improve production.
Production creates better experiences.
Better experiences create repeat customers.
Repeat customers create stronger brands.
That’s the flywheel.
So when the lights turn on in Statesboro on the final Homecoming weekend of Fall 2026—
don’t call it the end.
Call it:
INTERMISSION.
Because somewhere during winter, somebody is going to open the group chat.
Somebody is going to send a flight.
Somebody is going to send a hotel.
Somebody is going to post a beach.
And somebody is going to ask:
“What we doing for Spring Break?”
The answer begins in Miami.
Then Savannah/Tybee.
Then Atlanta.
Then Jacksonville.
THE ROAD DOESN’T END AT HOMECOMING.
It changes seasons.
CRUSH MAGAZINE™
CRUSH UNIVERSITY™
