WEATHER MACHINE: SHE BROUGHT HER OWN FORECAST 🌡️🔥

Mr CRUSH’s next catalog spotlight is for the women determined to enjoy their night.

CRUSH Magazine | “Weather Machine” Spotlight

The original plans fell through.

The rooftop is closed. Somebody booked the wrong time. The friend who picked the location is explaining herself in six separate voice messages.

Then another friend sends a new address.

Outfit still on. Evening still happening.

This edition of CRUSH Magazine turns to “Weather Machine” featuring PartyPlugMikey, another selection in the party-focused catalog connecting Mr CRUSH, PartyPlugMikey and Plug Not A Rapper.

Let the title set up the introduction. Then give the song its own turn.

🍎 STREAM “WEATHER MACHINE” ON APPLE MUSIC

“Weather Machine” suggests a playful possibility: having the controls to the atmosphere yourself.

For this spotlight, that image becomes an invitation to bring your own enthusiasm into the evening. Be the friend who helps the plans recover. Find the next place. Put a new song in the conversation.

You’ve already made time for each other. There’s still a good night available.

THE WOMEN MAKE THE OCCASION

Behind the artist identities is Savannah’s George “Mikey” Ransom Turner III. His ambition for this side of CRUSH places women dancing, twerking and enjoying themselves at the center of the experience.

That purpose gives the catalog a clear invitation.

Come with your friends. Feel yourself. Find the music you want to move to.

The room doesn’t have to be elaborate. Sometimes the gathering starts around a kitchen counter while everybody decides where to go. Sometimes the getting-ready session becomes the part people remember most.

One friend starts dancing. Another joins. The plans can wait a few minutes.

Give “Weather Machine” a listen in that company.

Open the record while the crew is together. Hear it before deciding where it belongs in your rotation. Let everybody bring her own taste to the conversation.

Your friend might find a new favorite. You might want to explore another song. Both are part of getting acquainted with an artist’s catalog.

PUT THE TITLE IN THE GROUP CHAT

Send “Weather Machine” to the friend who always has a backup plan.

She keeps the evening moving. She remembers what everybody enjoys. When the first idea falls apart, she’s already working on the second.

Give her another song to explore while she handles the itinerary.

The best music introductions often come with that kind of personal connection: a title that makes you think of somebody, a link you want her to open, a conversation that continues after she listens.

THREE MORE TO EXPLORE

“Bops Like Mike” gives the next catalog introduction a personal stamp. Get familiar with Mikey and bring a friend into the listening session.

“Turnt” belongs on the discovery list for the friend who has officially changed her answer to “I’m coming.”

“Turn Up da Strip” offers another title to open before the crew heads out. Save your picks and take them into the next gathering.

IF THE NEW PLAN IS A NIGHT IN, PUT CRUSH ON THE SCREEN

The catalog also has a watch session ready:

• “99 & 3000” — Official video

• “Jiggly Puff” — Official video

• “Rawest” featuring Taliraqs — Official video

• “Somebody Bih” — Official video

• “Slutty Vegan” — Official video

• “CRUSH World Cup” — Animated motion picture

Let everybody choose what plays next. The friend who usually takes the requests gets a pick, too.

For Mikey, the ambition is music becoming part of women enjoying their own time: dancing, laughing, showing up for one another and making something memorable out of the evening they have.

Start with “Weather Machine.” Bring your friends. Keep the night open.
