XITY GURLZ: BRING BADDIES ISLAND TO THE TYBEE PLAYLIST

CRUSH Magazine | Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded Music Spotlight

Every beach weekend has its own soundtrack. The best ones give everybody in the group a chance to add something.

“Xity Gurlz” by Plug Not A Rapper featuring PartyPlugMikey is the next selection in CRUSH Magazine’s Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded music spotlight. The record appears on the 2023 project Baddies Island, giving listeners another reason to explore the catalog beyond the songs they already know.

Earlier CRUSH music coverage described “Xity Gurlz” as playful and flirtatious, placing it in the conversation for clubs and casual parties. For the Tybee playlist, it is a chance to carry that selection into a different setting: the ride toward the coast, the preparation before the beach and the time spent with friends throughout the weekend.

Start with “Xity Gurlz,” then continue through Baddies Island. The project also gives listeners a chance to revisit “BADDIES” and “General Tso” as part of the same catalog chapter.

If your group has a person who always picks the music, send her this one. Let her decide where it fits.

Find “Xity Gurlz,” hear the record and give your Tybee playlist another Plug Not A Rapper selection.
