3RD FLOOR SUITES: CHECK INTO ANOTHER SIDE OF HOME SCREEN

CRUSH Magazine | Music + Weekend Culture

The beach gets the pictures. The room becomes the place where the rest of the weekend takes shape.

Friends get ready, compare outfits, charge their phones and decide what music is going on next. “3rd Floor Suites” gives that part of the trip a title to bring into the playlist conversation.

The Mr Crush and Plug Not A Rapper track featuring PartyPlugMikey appears third on Home Screen, following “Body” and “Belong 2 Me.” At two minutes and thirty seconds, it gives listeners a destination within the project before the album moves into “Screen Saver.”

For the Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded music series, “3rd Floor Suites” is an invitation to explore a record beyond the first song you already know. Put it on while the group gets ready, then let the album continue into “Screen Saver.”

The weekend has more than one setting: the drive, the beach, the room and the conversations after everyone gets back. A playlist can travel through all of them.

Check into “3rd Floor Suites” and hear where Home Screen takes you next.
