BODY: PLUG NOT A RAPPER OPENS HOME SCREEN WITH ATTRACTION

CRUSH Magazine | Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded Music Spotlight

The first song on an album has a job: make somebody want to hear what comes next.

“Body” opens Home Screen, the project by Mr Crush and Plug Not A Rapper featuring PartyPlugMikey. The title puts attraction at the front of the conversation and gives listeners a direct entry into the album.

For the Orange Crush Tybee Festival Reloaded music series, “Body” offers another selection to explore alongside “GOOD GOOD,” “Type Action Word” and “OnlyFanz.” Each gives listeners a different place to enter the relationship and nightlife side of Mikey’s catalog.

Start Home Screen from the beginning and let “Body” introduce the project. At two minutes and thirty-nine seconds, it leads into “Belong 2 Me” and “3rd Floor Suites”—two more records that give listeners a reason to stay with the album.

For people who know PartyPlugMikey through Orange Crush, this is a chance to hear how he opens a project. For longtime followers, it is an invitation to bring the first track back into the playlist and introduce it to someone new.

Start at track one. Press play on “Body.”
