ORANGE CRUSH® TYBEE/SAVANNAH WEEKEND 1: THE OFFICIAL RETURN, THE RESET, AND THE REBRANDING OF THE SEASON
(Operations + Identity + Structure Edition)
Weekend 1 in Tybee/Savannah is more than an event — it’s the official return of Orange Crush® to its home market with full structure, full organization, and full trademark control. This weekend sets the public perception of the season, the reputation of the tour, and the relationship with the City of Tybee Island and the Savannah region.
This article defines how the weekend works, how it’s controlled, and how it introduces the new 2026 operational model.
I. WEEKEND 1 — BRAND PURPOSE & STRATEGIC ROLE
Tybee Week 1 exists to:
✔ Reintroduce Orange Crush® under the
legal trademark owner
✔ Display full organization & compliance for the city
✔ Establish a safe, structured, proactive event environment
✔ Launch the April programming with controlled messaging
✔ Introduce students, travelers, and locals to the 2026 tour identity
✔ Launch the largest content weekend of the entire month
This is NOT a “come if you want, do what you want” weekend.
This is the organized, regulated, modern version of Orange Crush®.

IV. WHY WEEKEND 1 MATTERS
✔ It resets the public narrative.

✔ It proves the trademark owner is organized.
✔ It sets the pace for a peaceful, fun Week 2.
✔ It gives the city a controlled template of what April should look like.
✔ It produces the
largest beach-day recap of the entire month
, which anchors all PR.
When Weekend 1 looks successful, everything else becomes easier — sponsorships, city meetings, brand protection, press coverage, and momentum.
