THE PARTY HAS A PRESIDENT. THE CAMPUS HAS A PROBLEM.
MR CRUSH DECLARES A 21-TRACK CULTURAL CAMPAIGN WITH CRUSHTOBER UNIVERSITY 21+
CRUSH MAGAZINE | OCTOBER 2026
THE CRUSHTOBER ADMINISTRATION HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING. THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL RUNS THROUGH MUSIC, SPORTS, FASHION, NIGHTLIFE, AND POP CULTURE.
THE CANDIDATE IS UNCONVENTIONAL. THE PLATFORM IS UNMISTAKABLE.
Some artists announce an album.
Mr CRUSH is campaigning for cultural office.
Not the kind with a government salary, a motorcade, or a desk inside the White House.
This office has a DJ booth.
A football field.
A dance floor.
A fashion department.
An anime society.
And an admissions policy requiring one thing:
YOU MUST BE 21 OR OLDER TO ENTER THE PARTY.
Welcome to CRUSHTOBER UNIVERSITY 21+.
The fictional institution where Mr CRUSH serves as the larger-than-life figurehead, PartyPlugMikey handles the social affairs, and Plug Not A Rapper provides the musical platform.
One artist.
Three identities.
Twenty-one completed tracks.
And a campaign slogan that practically writes itself:
MAKE THE PLAYLIST GREAT AGAIN?
Not quite.
MAKE EVERYBODY PRESS PLAY.
Because this isn’t about winning a political election.
It’s about winning the attention of listeners who have thousands of entertainment options competing for their time.
And Mr CRUSH has decided that a conventional album announcement isn’t enough.
THE CRUSHTOBER ADMINISTRATION
Every memorable campaign needs a recognizable personality.
This one has three.
MR CRUSH — THE PRESIDENT OF PERSONALITY
Mr CRUSH is the public-facing figurehead.
The oversized ambition.
The visual identity.
The larger entertainment universe.
He’s the character who can turn a routine promotional photograph into a magazine cover and an album concept into an imaginary institution.
His role is to make the brand instantly recognizable.
PARTYPLUGMIKEY — SECRETARY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS
PartyPlugMikey is responsible for the atmosphere.
The social connections.
The adult-party identity.
The humor.
The celebration.
The ability to turn an ordinary gathering into something people want to talk about.
If Mr CRUSH builds the institution, PartyPlugMikey makes sure the campus doesn’t become boring.
PLUG NOT A RAPPER — DIRECTOR OF THE SOUNDTRACK
Plug Not A Rapper is the recording identity behind the catalog.
The songs are the foundation of the entire operation.
Without the music, the university would be nothing more than an entertaining concept.
And without listeners, the campaign would be nothing more than a collection of slogans.
That’s why the administration has one overriding objective:
GET THE AUDIENCE TO HEAR THE RECORDS.
DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS: COMPETITION IS IN THE DNA
The CRUSH universe has always had room for sports.
Basketball.
Football.
Competitive confidence.
Athletic identity.
And the language of winning.
That background becomes especially relevant when examining the album’s athletic references.
“Arch Madness” featuring TYNIEE introduces a football-inspired concept.
“My Turn” carries the language of opportunity and self-belief.
“Demure DeRozan” combines a basketball reference with contemporary cultural vocabulary.
These titles create openings for sports-focused storytelling, visual campaigns, and audience participation.
Imagine a fictional CRUSHTOBER sports desk.
Fans debating which record deserves MVP.
Listeners building their starting five of favorite songs.
A championship bracket determining the album’s most popular track.
That’s how an album can borrow the competitive excitement of sports without pretending a music ranking is an actual athletic event.
THE ONLY CHAMPIONSHIP THAT MATTERS HERE IS THE ONE LISTENERS DECIDE.
DEPARTMENT OF FASHION: THE DRESS CODE IS CONFIDENCE
The title “Mr Put that Shit On” practically demands a fashion conversation.
And the college-inspired environment gives that conversation a natural setting.
Outfits aren’t simply clothes in many social environments.
They’re expressions of personality.
Confidence.
Creativity.
Individuality.
And sometimes an attempt to make an entrance nobody forgets.
The CRUSHTOBER fashion department could celebrate everything from streetwear and sneakers to formal event styling and experimental looks.
Not by declaring one trend superior.
But by inviting listeners to show how they interpret the record.
The campaign question is simple:
WHO REALLY PUT THAT SHIT ON?
DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL LIFE: PARTYPLUGMIKEY IS IN SESSION
This is where the 21+ identity becomes central.
The album’s adult social themes appear in titles such as:
“F* 2 Good.”**
“Hi.”
“Sip Sumn University Ave.”
“BigBootiezAnthem.”
“College & Alumni Gurlz.”
“Midnight.”
These records offer opportunities to explore attraction, social introductions, celebration, dance, and nightlife.
The point isn’t that every listener needs to enjoy the same type of party.
It’s that the album makes room for different social personalities.
The outgoing host.
The stylish observer.
The dancer.
The romantic.
The person who came with friends and somehow ends up meeting half the room.
And the one person who promised to leave early but is still there at midnight.
THE SOCIAL CALENDAR IS FULL. THE MUSIC IS THE INVITATION.
DEPARTMENT OF ANIMATION: THE CURRICULUM GETS WEIRD IN THE BEST WAY
Now the campaign moves into a different creative territory.
“Anime.”
“Hunter x Hunter Episode 304.”
“Johnni Deepp.”
“Lilo & Stitch.”
“Trick or Treat.”
These titles open the door to animation-inspired storytelling, stylized characters, cinema references, and playful fictional worlds.
It’s a natural extension of the larger CRUSH visual identity.
And it distinguishes the album from a project built exclusively around one type of social setting.
A listener can appreciate the nightlife concepts and still be interested in fantasy animation.
A sports fan can also be an anime fan.
A fashion enthusiast can enjoy cinematic character design.
The project doesn’t have to choose between those audiences.
THE CREATIVE DEPARTMENT HAS NO SINGLE MAJOR.
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY: THE 912 IS REPRESENTED
The campaign may have national ambitions, but the foundation remains Savannah.
Cloverdale.
Carver Village.
Tatemville.
Cann Park.
The artist’s athletic and social experiences connect the CRUSH identity to a real community.
That history matters because recognizable entertainment brands often become stronger when audiences understand where the creator comes from.
Not simply the city listed in a biography.
The relationships.
The institutions.
The experiences.
The cultural environment.
Mr CRUSH’s Savannah roots offer a point of authenticity for a project that otherwise operates inside a deliberately exaggerated fictional world.
THE UNIVERSITY IS IMAGINARY. THE ROOTS ARE REAL.
THE CAMPAIGN PROMISE: 21 TRACKS, 21 CHANCES TO WIN YOU OVER
The complete official album consists of:
Goin
F*** 2 Good
Hi
Sip Sumn University Ave
MEAC Homecoming
Crush Da Yard
Arch Madness ft. TYNIEE
BigBootiezAnthem
My Turn
College & Alumni Gurlz
Mr Put that Shit On
Midnight
Shalom Blakk
Bonnet
Not Me
Anime
Hunter x Hunter Episode 304
Johnni Deepp
Demure DeRozan
Lilo & Stitch
Trick or Treat
Twenty-one completed records.
Different subjects.
Different creative entry points.
One connected album experience.
The campaign doesn’t need to guarantee that every listener will love every song.
It needs to persuade people to give the music a fair hearing.
Because the most effective album promotion eventually leads to the same place:
The play button.
THE CRUSH MAGAZINE BALLOT
The administration is opening the floor to the listeners.
Which song deserves the crown?
Which record should receive the next major visual treatment?
Which track would you play for somebody hearing Mr CRUSH for the first time?
Which song belongs in your workout playlist?
Which belongs in your party rotation?
Which deserves a second listen?
Those questions are more interesting than asking audiences to agree with a predetermined verdict.
And they give the album a reason to generate conversation long after the first promotional post.
THE FINAL ADDRESS: THE CAMPAIGN ISN’T OVER UNTIL YOU PRESS PLAY.
Mr CRUSH has presented his platform.
Twenty-one tracks.
Three identities.
A fictional university.
A Savannah foundation.
And an entertainment world large enough to accommodate sports, fashion, nightlife, and animation.
But there’s one office the artist cannot appoint himself to.
YOUR FAVORITE.
That position must be earned.
One listen at a time.
And the election is open.
CAST YOUR VOTE WITH YOUR EARS.
