THE GROUP CHAT GETS THREE NEW SONGS

CRUSH Magazine | Music Discovery

Every group chat has someone who brings the music.

They send the video before everyone else has seen it. They remember the artist’s name when somebody asks. They turn a casual link into the next conversation.

Here is their next assignment: “GOOD GOOD,” “Long Island Iced Tea” and “Mikey Tyson” by Plug Not A Rapper.

These are Mikey’s three selections for his next music push, and they give listeners a straightforward way to discover his work together. Put the records in the chat, give everyone time to listen and ask one question: which one gets the replay?

Start with the “GOOD GOOD” video. A shared visual gives everyone the same place to begin. Let the conversation develop around the actual release—the moment someone remembers, the part they want to revisit or the friend they think should hear it.

Follow with “Long Island Iced Tea.” Keep the video link attached to the title so anyone joining the conversation later can find the exact release. A good recommendation should be easy to follow.

Finish with “Mikey Tyson,” available through the Plug Not A Rapper catalog. Its name gives the conversation a memorable closing selection and another reason to explore the artist behind it.

There is no requirement for everyone to choose the same favorite. Different reactions are part of the discovery. One person might return to the first record while another follows the third into the rest of the catalog.

What begins as three links can become a listening session, a playlist addition or a new artist somebody keeps following.

Bring the songs. Let the group pick the replay.
