The official and historically recognized Orange Crush Festival® weekend is April 10–12. For decades, this has been the true HBCU Spring Break date — the weekend students traveled for, the weekend alumni returned for, and the weekend the culture has always held. While past years were unpermitted, April 10–12 has never stopped being the authentic Orange Crush® weekend. In 2026, the trademark owner has formally submitted the official permit for these dates.

— The “Trademark Priority”

Only April 10–12 is the federally trademarked Orange Crush Festival® weekend. Any other dates are not connected to the original event. The trademark owner confirms that April 10–12 represents the true, historic, culturally accurate Orange Crush® tradition. This weekend remains the only legally recognized timeframe for the official festival.
