THE STAGE, THE SOUND & THE CITY

CRUSH Magazine recognizes the local names behind a Savannah State Homecoming gathering: Speedy, DJ Trill, AOS Mobile Bar, and Crimson Korner.

A Homecoming weekend brings different generations into the same conversation. Alumni return with years of stories. Current students are making memories of their own. Local residents bring a connection to Savannah that continues throughout the year.

The locally sponsored stage-and-bar experience presented by AOS Mobile Bar and Crimson Korner belongs at that meeting point.

Promoted as “The Ultimate Tailgate Experience” for October 17, 2026, the invitation named Anthony “Speedy” Gordon as host and Ty “DJ Trill” Smith for music, alongside the advertised Fort Valley State–Savannah State football matchup.

Those names give this chapter of Homecoming a distinctly local focus. They also offer a useful way to understand the celebration: through the setting, the sound, and the people attached to both.

Speedy’s hosting credit puts a familiar identity at the front of the invitation. Hosting is a public responsibility; the person named becomes part of what guests associate with the gathering. Recognizing Anthony Gordon by his full name connects that visible role to the individual behind “Speedy.”

DJ Trill receives a similarly direct credit. The music was part of the advertised experience, and Ty Smith’s name belongs with that contribution. A DJ brings a personal ear to a shared space, choosing how songs and transitions fit the occasion. At Homecoming, that work has room to connect listeners across different ages and musical memories.

The bar adds another dimension. In the supplied promotional artwork, the AOS Mobile Bar installation forms the central setting, surrounded by school colors and tailgate imagery. Its placement makes hospitality part of the event’s identity. Crimson Korner’s presenter credit sits alongside it, giving both brands a clear place in the introduction.

For George Mikey Turner—Mr CRUSH, PartyPlugMikey, and Plug Not A Rapper—these local names help place his own Homecoming story within a wider Savannah context.

His music and public persona are one point of entry. His upbringing and basketball roots provide another. Covering the people around a celebration allows CRUSH Magazine to connect those parts of his life while giving others space to be recognized for their own work.

That is especially meaningful when a gathering brings together people who know one another through different settings. Someone may recognize a name through music, another through local events, and another through a personal connection that began years earlier. A feature can introduce those names to new readers while preserving their significance for people who already know them.

The strongest recognition stays specific.

Speedy carried the advertised hosting role. DJ Trill carried the music credit. AOS Mobile Bar and Crimson Korner presented the experience. Together, those credits identify the local contribution at the center of this feature.

For readers following Mr CRUSH’s Savannah story, this is another reason to look beyond a single performance image. The wider picture contains people whose work gives a celebration its setting and character.

October 17, 2026 belongs in that record with their names attached: Anthony “Speedy” Gordon. Ty “DJ Trill” Smith. AOS Mobile Bar. Crimson Korner. Savannah’s contribution to a Savannah State Homecoming gathering.
