Disabled Veteran Launches National Press Tour Merging Culture, Crypto, and College Empowerment

Orange Crush Founder Leads Revolutionary Movement to Transform Festivals Into Platforms for Blockchain Education, Veteran Support, and HBCU Advancement

Savannah, GA — June 12, 2025 — George R. Turner III, the 100% disabled veteran, cultural visionary, and federally registered trademark owner of the Orange Crush Festival, has announced the official launch of the Orange Crush “From Uniform to Unicorn” Press Tour — a groundbreaking multi-city campaign focused on veteran empowerment, Web3 education, and college innovation.

What began as a beach festival has grown into a full-scale movement, and now, Turner is bringing the message nationwide. The tour will stop at universities, crypto hubs, veteran centers, and civic venues to elevate underserved voices in blockchain, highlight student talent, and create real pathways to wealth, ownership, and impact.

🔶

A Tour With Purpose

The Orange Crush Press Tour merges three core themes:

  1. Veteran Awareness & Economic Justice
Turner speaks candidly about overcoming housing instability, trauma, and systemic barriers while building a multi-entity ecosystem as a disabled veteran. The tour aims to spotlight how veteran-led ventures can drive social innovation, employment, and community reinvestment.

  2. College Engagement & HBCU Pipeline Building
Through his nonprofit Orange Crush University, Turner has launched initiatives to bring blockchain education, business training, and creative industry jobs to HBCUs across Georgia and beyond. Student-led events, mentorships, and festival access are central to the tour experience.

  3. Crypto Literacy & the Launch of Crush Coin DAO
The tour will introduce Crush Coin — a festival-backed cryptocurrency DAO designed to simplify blockchain use for ticketing, merch, vendor payments, and community donations. Workshops will focus on “crypto without confusion,” enabling students, veterans, and creators to own their stake in the future.

A Veteran’s Vision for the Future

Turner, who served in the U.S. Army and now holds multiple trademarks and business entities, sees the press tour as more than outreach — it’s a call to action.

“People see Orange Crush and think party — but this is about power,” said Turner. “We’re building an ecosystem where students, veterans, and Black creatives can move from being consumers of culture to owners of currency, content, and community. That’s the real revolution.”

Turner’s mission is backed by years of grassroots organizing, legal victories for intellectual property, and an expanding footprint that includes Orange Crush Festival LLC, Crush Coin DAO LLC, and the 501(c)(3) Orange Crush University.
